Notes

'Linda Kathleen Jack' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Linda Kathleen Jack') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Sturdy stems carry the large, fully double, high-crowned rose-red flowers. The plant grows strongly and blooms in late midseason. W. R. Jack bred it, and Ferncliff Gardens introduced it in 1970.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Garlic chives, and Bunchberry.
