Notes

Linden viburnum (Viburnum dilatatum) is an erect shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It bears white flowers from early to late spring and into early summer, and butterflies and birds visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. You can enjoy its fall color too.

Pairs well with Cotoneaster, Purple Pillar rose of sharon, and Burnet.
