Notes

'Little Corporal' peony (Paeonia 'Little Corporal') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single rose-red flowers face upward on sturdy stems and are fragrant. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. William J. Seidl bred it, and it stays short at up to 20 inches.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Stargazer lily.
