Notes

'Little Gem' creeping cotoneaster (Cotoneaster adpressus 'Little Gem') is a shrub for rock gardens, ground cover, borders, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers tinged with pink open in spring and early summer and attract bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Birds also visit the plant, and its cascading stems stay 9 to 18 inches tall.

Pairs well with Foam flower, Big bluestem, and Lily.
