Notes

'Little Jeanne' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Little Jeanne') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The light pink flowers have creamy yellow frilled centers and a strong fragrance. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and the early leaves emerge burgundy before turning green.

Pairs well with Columbine, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
