This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows in a clumping form. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.
Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Bishop of Llandaff dahlia, and Lemon Grass lemongrass.
