Notes

'Mactro' Indian shot (Canna indica 'Mactro') is a bulb for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clumping habit and blooms in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Neil MacCormick bred it.

Pairs well with Bishop of Llandaff dahlia, Pineapple sage, Vermillionaire cuphea, and Lemon Grass lemongrass.
