Notes

'Lora' peony (Paeonia 'Lora') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Each stem carries one pink, semi-double flower that measures 7 inches across. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The name comes from a character in Richard Wagner's opera, Die Feen.

Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, PowWow White coneflower, and Nodding onion.
