Notes

'Lord Derby' tulip (Tulipa 'Lord Derby') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers are carmine edged white and open from early to late spring. Zocher & Co. bred it, and it is now found mainly in historical collections.

Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Fanal astilbe, and Ernest Markham clematis.
