Notes

'Louisa Rosenow' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Louisa Rosenow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Mauve-pink Japanese type flowers open in early to mid summer and have silvery reverse sides. The compact bush stands well, and Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Knapweed, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
