Notes

'Louise Godin' peony (Paeonia 'Louise Godin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Peachy-pink single flowers measure 7 inches across and open early, with two rows of rounded guard petals. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. François-Léo Tremblay bred this peony, and it needs no support.

Pairs well with Krossa Regal hosta, Blazing star, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Blue grama.
