Notes

'Louise Rowe' clematis (Clematis 'Louise Rowe') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The first flowers on old wood are double, and later flowers on new wood are single. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Jean B. Rowe bred it.

Pairs well with Iceberg rose, Iris, and Alpine aster.
