Notes

'Mademoiselle Desbuisson' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mademoiselle Desbuisson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Crousse bred it in 1893. The large, fragrant, pink blooms have silvery edges and fade to a milk white center in mid-season. The compact, upright plants stay tall and sturdy.

Pairs well with Bobo hydrangea, Stargazer lily, and Garlic chives.
