Notes

'Magnificence' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Magnificence') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The rose blooms have a Japanese type flower form, so they look nice in a bouquet. Kelway bred it. You can plant it in a border where its rose color stands out, and cut stems to bring indoors.

Pairs well with Iris, Sum and Substance hosta, Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, and Pink Impression tulip.
