Notes

'Maid of Honor' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Maid of Honor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white flowers are large, full doubles that open in late spring and are built higher in the center. Stiff stems hold the blooms upright. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Iris, Incrediball hydrangea, and Sedge.
