Notes

'Maiden's Blush' lilac (Syringa hyacinthiflora 'Maiden's Blush') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The fragrant blooms open in early to late spring and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It can reach about 10 to 12 feet tall, so give it room to grow.

Pairs well with Clematis, Woodland phlox, Hardy geranium, and Mount Hood daffodil.
