Notes

'Old Glory' lilac (Syringa hyacinthiflora 'Old Glory') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late spring with fragrant flowers that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Plants can reach about 94 to 122 inches tall and wide.
