Notes
'Majestic Jazz' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Majestic Jazz') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pink semi-double blooms are fragrant and open in mid to late spring and early summer. Foliage emerges burgundy and matures to green. Swenson Gardens bred it, and the upright stems stand without support.
Pairs well with American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, Black Parrot tulip, and Arizona Sun blanket flower.
