Notes

'Majestic Rose' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Majestic Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large reflexing petals give the fragrant rose-pink blooms the look of a big rose. It blooms in late spring on strong stems about 28 inches tall. Alonzo B. Franklin bred it.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, New England aster, and Japanese spirea.
