Notes

'Majestic Sunlight' peony (Paeonia 'Majestic Sunlight') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, double, pale yellow flowers sit one per stem on strong upright stems that reach 30 inches, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Swenson Gardens bred it.

Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Switchgrass, Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, and Black Parrot tulip.
