Notes

'Mambo' rose (Rosa 'Mambo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has dark green leaves and fragrant, medium red blooms. Flowers appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Mathias Tantau, Jr bred it in 1970.

Pairs well with May Night salvia, Limelight hydrangea, and Japanese forest grass.
