Notes
Mapleleaf viburnum (Viburnum acerifolium) is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Birds eat the berries, and the maple-like leaves turn purplish pink in fall. It suckers profusely, so give it room to form a colony.
Pairs well with Virginia rose, Hosta, and Eastern white pine.

Eastern North America.
