Notes

'Marcia Lee' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Marcia Lee') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The pink blooms have cream undertones and open in early summer. Creamy petaloids sit at the base of the bomb-shaped flower, and there are no stamens. The stems are stiff and strong, so they hold up well in a vase.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Indian grass, Stargazer lily, and Blue sage.
