Notes

'Margaret Hagerman' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Margaret Hagerman') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double flowers are pure white with a deep golden glow at the base of the petals. They are fragrant and bloom in mid to late spring. Heavy 40 inch stems hold the blooms erect above the foliage.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Charles Joly lilac, Sedge, and Picture tulip.
