Notes
'Margaret Lough' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Margaret Lough') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers are white with pink tints. They are rather flat, and the stamens show and light up each bloom. Walter L. Gumm bred it.
Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Queen of Night tulip, Cinnamon fern, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
