Notes

'Margaret McGredy' rose (Rosa 'Margaret McGredy') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers, and it also works as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The fragrant orange-red blooms open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and once more in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Samuel Davidson McGredy III bred it in 1927.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Sedge, and Coral Charm peony.
