Notes
'Margaret' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Margaret') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double blooms open flat in late spring and show blush white color. Tall, strong stems hold up the flowers in all weathers. Hans Peter Sass bred it.
Pairs well with Iris, Garlic chives, and Kentucky bluegrass.
