Notes

'Marie-Nicole Lemieux' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Marie-Nicole Lemieux') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double, fragrant flowers open late in spring and fade from pink at the base to white at the tips. The upright stems stand on their own and reach about 28 inches. François-Léo Tremblay bred it.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Scentara Double Blue lilac, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
