Notes
'Marie-Victorin' peony (Paeonia 'Marie-Victorin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The globe-shaped pale pink flowers have purple-pink flares that stay clear as the petals fade, and the stems do not need support. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Obedient plant, and Sedge.
