Notes

'Mariette' tulip (Tulipa 'Mariette') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The blue-pink flowers open from early to late spring on stems 12 to 24 inches tall. Segers bred it. Cut a few stems for a vase.

Pairs well with Dordogne tulip, Swan Wings tulip, and August Moon hosta.
