Notes

'Dordogne' tulip (Tulipa 'Dordogne') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The red-pink flowers open from early to late spring on stems 24 to 36 inches tall. W. Dekker & Sons bred it. The tall stems make good cut flowers for a vase.

Pairs well with Avignon tulip, Queen of Night tulip, Karl Rosenfield peony, and Spiked speedwell.
