Notes

'Mary Gregory' stokes’ aster (Stokesia laevis 'Mary Gregory') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Yellow flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows up to 18 inches tall.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Hardy hibiscus, and Ornamental onion.
