Notes

'Peachie's Pick' stokes’ aster (Stokesia laevis 'Peachie's Pick') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Blue flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Culver’s root, Joe Pye weed, and Casa Blanca lily.
