Notes

'Mattie Glocka' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mattie Glocka') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Joseph R. Glocka bred it. Light pink to coral-pink cups open in early summer around a big yellow center with purple flares. The stems are sturdy and stand up to storms, so the plant holds its blooms well.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Tickseed, and Ostrich fern.
