Notes

'May Corbin' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'May Corbin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its large, deep pink double flowers are fragrant and open in mid to late spring. Tall, wiry stems rise from a high built crown. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Blanket flower, and Royal fern.
