Notes

'May Morn' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'May Morn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The full double blooms open salmon pink and fade to white in full sun. Strong stems hold the tall, upright plants well, and Col. Jesse C. Nicholls bred it.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Pink Impression tulip, and Royal fern.
