Notes

'May Music' peony (Paeonia 'May Music') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, single flowers are apricot buff with crimson flares and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Nodding onion, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
