Notes

'May Wettern' rose (Rosa 'May Wettern') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has dark green leaves and fragrant, medium pink flowers that open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the blooms, and Alexander Dickson II bred it in 1928.

Pairs well with Maltese cross, Creeping phlox, Lily, and Sweet pepperbush.
