Melody d'Amour tulip

Notes

'Melody d'Amour' tulip (Tulipa 'Melody d'Amour') is a bulb for spring beds, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). The flowers are dark pink-red outside with buttercup yellow margins. Inside, they show Dutch vermilion feathering on a yellowish ground, with dark brown blotches at the base. The plant grows about 20 inches tall, and its leaves are heavily mottled.

Pairs well with Siebold's hosta, Ostrich fern, and Panicle hydrangea.
