Notes
'Memory' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Memory') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. R.H. Jones bred it. The large, fragrant, double blooms are blush pink with tan tints at the center. Crinkled guard petals surround a lacy center, and the flowers open in late spring to early summer.
Pairs well with Obedient plant, Prairie dropseed, and Christmas fern.
