Notes

'Meresankh' peony (Paeonia 'Meresankh') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Bees and butterflies visit its fragrant, pale yellow, early flowers, and the spreading stems need support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Professor Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Black Parrot tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
