Notes

'Mermaid' rose (Rosa 'Mermaid') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Light yellow, fragrant blooms open in spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Rudolf Geschwind bred it in 1918.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Foxglove, and Lily.
