Notes
'Meteor' rose (Rosa 'Meteor') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant bears fragrant orange-red blooms from late spring to early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Rudolf Geschwind bred it in 1959.
Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Blue fescue, and The President clematis.
