Notes

'Mighty Chestnut' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Mighty Chestnut') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds all visit it.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
