Notes

'Milkshake' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Milkshake') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows erect and fast, and it blooms in summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Yarrow, Bee balm, Prairie dropseed, and Red-hot poker.
