Notes

'Millie Stover' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Millie Stover') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its cupped pink blooms measure 5 to 6 inches across and sit on strong stems above dark green foliage. A yellow ring sometimes shows at the base of the bloom and fades to white with age. Robert William Tischler bred it.

Pairs well with Wild geranium, Tickseed, and Cinnamon fern.
