Notes

'Milton Jack' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Milton Jack') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears double rose-red flowers on strong, uniform stems that reach about 24 inches tall. The blooms hold up well to sun and rain. W. R. Jack bred it, and Ferncliff Gardens introduced it in 1980.

Pairs well with Iris, Queen of Night tulip, Kentucky bluegrass, and Tiger lily.
