Notes

'Mimi' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mimi') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The Japanese-type blooms are an even medium pink with golden stamens and a golden center. W. R. Jack bred it, and Ferncliff Gardens introduced it in 1974.

Pairs well with Great blue lobelia, Lanceleaf coreopsis, and Cinnamon fern.
