Notes

'Mindy' peony (Paeonia 'Mindy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers are purplish-red and fade lighter at the petal edges. Strong stems hold the blooms above the foliage, so the plant needs no support. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Switchgrass, and Nodding onion.
