Notes

'Mine-No-Yuki' camellia (Camellia sasanqua 'Mine-No-Yuki') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast into an arching, evergreen shrub with fragrant flowers that open in autumn and winter. Bees and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Japanese holly, Red spider lily, and Big bluestem.
